keys to our kingdom

today i picked up the keys to my new apartment.. i am so excited to be back in my own space.. i am concerned, now that the little bug is growing increasingly on the move, that it is going to be a lot harder than i thought to finish out the semester or enroll in summer school - but i am still going to do it..

it's funny how you think your life is going to turn out a certain way but it turns out even better.. like one day you are living with someone wonderful, then you are engaged to someone else, then you are chasing some crazy crush from la, then you are hit by a ford f150, then you are in a sadly abusive relationship but determined to make it work anyway, and then you get pregnant and have a beautiful child and a second chance at a childhood you thought you had lost so long ago... single-mom-ness is not so bad when you have someone as wonderful as i do to make it through each day with...

i think i hear the little monster stirring.. another nap fail =( her little smile will be worth the exhaustion though!
